TODAY

 

Today, I have much I want to say.

 

Today, I want to thank the Lord

 

For his patience and his love.

 

I want to thank our heavenly father

 

For the sky, the stars and the earth.

 

I want to thank the Lord

 

 For being there,

 

On that one time, I was scared.

 

I want to thank him for providing

 

The delicious meal, I wasn’t counting.

 

I want to praise his name today

 

For tomorrow… Who knows?

 

If I will see the new day.
